Three Gorges Dam (in terms of Installed capacity)
The Three Gorges Dam is the world's largest dam in terms of installed capacity (22,500 MW). Dam is built on Yangtze River and location is town of Sandouping, located in Yiling District, Yichang, Hubei province, China.

Aswan Dam (In terms of reservoir capacity)
The Aswan Dam is an embankment dam situated across the Nile River in Aswan, Egypt. Aswan Dam was constructed between 1960 and 1970, and has had a significant impact on the economy and culture of Egypt.
